Our client is the NPHCDA, established in 1992 as a parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Health, to provide leadership that supports the promotion and implementation of high quality and sustainable Primary Health Care (PHC) services in Nigeria. In 2007, NPHCDA was merged with the National Programme on Immunisation (NPI), as part of the Federal Government’s drive to strengthen the Agency’s leadership and ensure the integrated delivery of PHC services.

As part of the ongoing effort to reposition the Agency in line w.th Health Agenda 2009, and the recent public service reforms, some senior-level vacanc.es have been created. We are looking for driven, innovative, competent an; proven health sector leaders, managers and team players who have excelled in their field and wish to make a difference by improving health outcomes for our people and achieve the health-related MDGs.

We are calling for applications from suitably qualified internal and external candidates to fill this position within the Agency as approved by its Governing Board:

Director of Finance & Accounts- GL
The successful candidate will lead the Department of Finance and Accounts, whose role is to oversee the Agency’s financial management systems and accounts.
He/she will provide leadership in establishing an effective accounting and financial management system with in-built controls in line with Government extant rules and regulations and best practices in public financial management.
The ideal candidate wilt have excellent organization and management skills, sound knowledge of public sector financial regulations ,programme fund accounting body
Proven track record in managing public sector finances and accounting systems will be an added advantage.
He/She should possess a degree in health in accounting and must have the requisite professional qualification to head a Department of Finance and Accounts in the public service.

Must be Nigerian citizens as defined in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Possess a certificate indicating their State of Origin and Local Government Area
